With a lifelong passion for athletics, I have always found myself immersed in the world of sports and the gym. It was my wife, Amy, who introduced me to CrossFit, and since then, I have embraced it wholeheartedly. CrossFit has become my main athletic pursuit, providing both physical and mental challenges that I find greatly satisfying. As an engineer by education, I also gravitate towards the technical aspects of Olympic Weightlifting and improving workout performance, always eager to help my athletes progress towards their goals.
I've always worked really hard, it doesn't matter what it is. I used to workout by myself and consistently achieved improvement but after years and years of that I started to hit plateaus, my joints hurt, and it got to a point where I was only going through the motions. Once my wife introduced me to CrossFit, all of those things changed. CrossFit allowed me to break my plateaus, find accountability, find community around fitness, and overall, just feel better. I believe that by constantly improving my fitness level, it buffers me against sickness.
I love to coach to help make others better whether it's mental or physical. During my journey, I've found CrossFit to be the most complete program for health, longevity, accountability, and community. I get really fired up when I see our members hit new feats, whether it's a PR in a lift or learning a new skill they've worked hard on achieving.
